MoU Konecranes
Sinhgad College of Engineering is a member of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). On 24th July 2018 an MoU was signed between Sinhgad College of Engineering and Konecranes Pvt. Ltd. Konecranes is a world-leading group of Lifting Businesses, serving a broad range of customers, including manufacturing and process industries, shipyards, ports and terminals. Konecranes provides productivity-enhancing lifting solutions as well as services for lifting equipment and machine tools of all makes. In 2017, Group sales totalled EUR 3,136 million. The Group has 16,400 employees at 600 locations in 50 countries.
THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES WILL BE COVERED UNDER THE MOU:
- Industrial visit for the students: Konecranes will allow 4 industrial visits for the Students of SCOE in the Batch Size of 15 in an academic Year.
- The Industrial visits will be arranged for Faculty Members of SCOE to know Industry in more detail. These visits will help to see what is expected of Industry and how they should prepare students fulfilling the Industry Expectations.
- Guest Session: Guest session will be conducted by the Industry / Subject experts from Konecranes for the students of SCOE. SCOE will conduct Five Guest Sessions in an academic year.
- Internship Projects: Konecranes would offer internship to 3 – 4 selected BE/B.Tech students of SCOE depending upon the Industry requirements & it’s existing engagement.
- SCOE can also offer space at their premises to Konecranes to showcase their products and brief the students of SCOE.
