Admission Procedure For Std. XI

Admission Procedure :

  1. Admission to Std. XI (F. Y. J. C.) is through centralized admission process. Students who have passed Std. X (SSC/CBSC/ICSE/NOS or any other equivalent examinations) are eligible for admission to F. Y. J. C. As per the merit and availability of seats. Admission will be finalized only after compliance of all the relevant certificates & documents.

  2. Admission through Sinhgad City School Quota. Students who have passed Std. X from Sinhgad City School can take admission directly through school quota (20% i.e. 48 seats per stream).Escaping the centralization procedure.

  3. Admission through Management Quota. Some students can take direct admission in management quota.(5% i.e. 12 seats per stream) by taking permission from management of Sinhagad Institutes

Documents required at the time of admission :

  1. Statement of marks of S.S.C. or other examination considered equivalent by the Board having passed in minimum five subjects with English as one of them
  2. School/College leaving Certificate (duly countersigned by the education officer).
  3. Passing certificate of S.S.C. or equivalent examination
  4. Migration Certificate
  5. Domicile certificate
  6. Caste certificate / Validity / Creamy Layer (as applicable)
  7. ID card size photos of the student: 2 copies
  8. Certificate in the prescribed “Appendix A” of eligibility form of the board (for candidate coming from outside India).
Note: Admission will be finalized only after compliance of all the relevant certificates & documents.

Admission Procedure For B.Sc. & M.Sc.

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) is an undergraduate academic degree awarded on completion of courses that generally last three years. One of the most chosen courses in India is B.Sc. course. B.Sc. Computer Science

Eligibility-

Having passed H.S.C. OR equivalent examination in science with mathematics or Three years diploma course after S.S.C. from Board of Technical Education conducted by government of Maharashtra or its equivalent.

 

M.Sc. Computer Science

This degree provides students with through computer science background that allows them to purchase in industry environment as well as research. They are professionally trained, they develop an analytical mind and problem solving attitude.

Eligibility-

bachelor of computer Science with 50% marks OR Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or Information Technology/Electronic telecommunication with 50% marks.

 

B.Sc. Biotechnology

Biotechnology is a multidisciplinary, research oriented course that combines biology with technology. It is one of the fastest growing applied sciences and is reckoned as the leading edge technology in the years to come.

Eligibility-

Having passed H.S.C. OR equivalent examination in science with English and Biology and two of the science subjects such as physics, chemistry, mathematics and biotechnology.

 

M.Sc. Microbiology

Microbiology is an important link between basic science and technology. It has a wide scope from small cities to metropolitans and abroad.If you are interested in preventing , accurately diagnosing and controlling infectious diseases, production of fermented food such as cheese and yogurt, cleaning of toxic waste in environment then M.Sc. B.Sc. Microbiology

Microbiology has become crucial and indispensible in everyday life. Microbes occupy the whole world; from soil, water, milk and air to skin, oral cavity, teeth and intestine including stomach. Some of them cause disease or spoil food, but most are helpful in production of antibiotics, alcohol etc. and biodegradation of everything. Studies of microbes have become integral part of education and human progress.

Eligibility-

Having passed H.S.C. OR equivalent examination in science with English, Biology and two of the science subjects such as physics, chemistry, mathematics and geography and geology etc
OR
Three years diploma in pharmacy course of Board of technical education conducted by Govt. of Maharashtra or its equivalent or Higher Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination in English and vocational subjects of 10+2 level (MCVC) – medical lab technician.

 

M.Sc. Geoinformatics

It is industry oriented Masters Program in remote Sensing and Geographical Information System. It encompasses dual challenges of equipping students with strong scientific foundation as well as trading them in latest methodologies and techniques.

Bachelor of Science ( Computer science/ Geology/Environmental Science/Information technology/ Botany/Zoology/Agriculture)

Engineering Graduates and Diploma ( Civil/ Electrical/ Computer Science? Information technology) Graduate in architecture/ town planning/ Surveying)

B.Sc. Geology

Studying science teaches you how to question, investigate, report and communicate. Geology is a science that deals with the study of earth, natural resources and their proper exploitation play a vital role in nation building.

passed H.S.C. or equivalent examination in science.

 

M.Sc. Petroleum Technology

Petroleum technology has been an inevitable aspect of economy, trade & globalization. The demand for mineral fuels is ever- increasing and so is need for newer treads in exploration technology and processing. It offers several career avenues with excellent prospects throughout.

Admission Procedure For B.Com. / BBA / BCA / BBM(IB) / M.Com.

There are different types of courses offered by STES under the affiliation of University of Pune like :

  1. Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.)
  2. Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
  3. Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)
  4. Bachelor of Business Management International Business (BBM-IB)
  5. Master of Commerce: (M.Com.)

Admission Procedure :

For which students can take admission. There are certain rules & regulations laid down by University of Pune. These are:

  1. Preference may be given to those students who have passed XIIth from the Junior College of same Senior College.
  2. 15 % seats of sanctioned Intake (Over & above) are there for foreign Students i.e. Foreign Nationals, PIO (Person of India Origin) & Children of Workers in Gulf & S.E. Asia. The admission should be taken through the International Centre of University of Pune and then International Centre of Sinhgad Technical Education Society, Erandwane.
  3. 10 % seats of sanctioned Intake are there for NRI i.e. Non-Residential Indians (Students from other countries except Gulf & S.E. Asia). The admission should be taken through the International Centre of University of Pune and then International Centre of Sinhgad Technical Education Society, Erandwane.
  4. Since university is not conducting any kind of Entrance Test for above courses admission, college may prepare merit list.
  5. Admissions are done strictly as per the rules & regulations of the University of Pune.

 

Eligibility Criteria for B.Com

  1. Higher Secondary School Certificate (10 + 2) or its equivalent examination with English.
  2. OR
  3. Three Year Diploma Course (after S. S. C.) of board of Technical Education conducted by Govt. of Maharashtra or Its Equivalent.
  4. OR
  5. Two Years Diploma in Pharmacy (after H. S. C.) of Board of Technical Education conducted by Govt. of Maharashtra or Its Equivalent.
  6. OR
  7. Intermediate Commerce/ Arts examination from the Board of Secondary Education, M. P. Bhopal with 4 subjects including General English.
  8. OR
  9. Minimum Competency based Vocational Course.

Eligibility Criteria for BBA

  1. Higher Secondary School Certificate (10 + 2) or its equivalent examination with 45 % marks (40 % marks for reserved category candidate as per Maharashtra State Govt. Rules) and English as one of the Subjects.
  2. OR
  3. Three Year Diploma Course (after S. S. C.) of board of Technical Education conducted by Govt. of Maharashtra or Its Equivalent.
  4. OR
  5. Two Year Diploma Courses in Pharmacy (after H. S. C.) of Board of Technical Education conducted by Govt. of Maharashtra or Its Equivalent.
  6. OR
  7. Higher Secondary School Certificate (10 + 2) Examination with 40 % marks and any Vocational subject at (10 + 2) level.
  8. OR
  9. Higher Secondary School Certificate (10 + 2) Vocational (MCVC) - Minimum Competency based Vocational Course Examination with 40 % marks (35 % marks for reserved category candidate as per Maharashtra State Govt. Rules).

Eligibility Criteria for BCA

  1. Higher Secondary School Certificate (10 + 2) or its equivalent examination with 45 % marks (40 % marks for reserved category candidate as per Maharashtra State Govt. Rules) and English as one of the Subjects.
  2. OR
  3. Three Year Diploma Course (after S. S. C.) of board of Technical Education conducted by Govt. of Maharashtra or Its Equivalent.
  4. OR
  5. Two Year Diploma Courses in Pharmacy (after H. S. C.) of Board of Technical Education conducted by Govt. of Maharashtra or Its Equivalent.
  6. OR
  7. Higher Secondary School Certificate (10 + 2) Examination with 45 % marks and any Vocational subject at (10 + 2) level.
  8. OR
  9. Higher Secondary School Certificate (10 + 2) Vocational (MCVC) - Minimum Competency based Vocational Course Examination with 45 % marks (40 % marks for reserved category candidate as per Maharashtra State Govt. Rules).

  1. Higher Secondary School Certificate (10 + 2) or its equivalent examination with 45 % marks (40 % marks for reserved category candidate as per Maharashtra State Govt. Rules) and English as one of the Subjects.

  3. Three Year Diploma Course (after S. S. C.) of board of Technical Education conducted by Govt. of Maharashtra or Its Equivalent.
  4. OR
  5. Two Year Diploma Courses in Pharmacy (after H. S. C.) of Board of Technical Education conducted by Govt. of Maharashtra or Its Equivalent.
  6. OR
  7. Higher Secondary School Certificate (10 + 2) Examination with 45 % marks and any Vocational subject at (10 + 2) level.

Eligibility Criteria for M. Com

  1. The student who has passed any Bachelors Degree of University of Pune or any other recognized University shall be held eligible to be admitted to M.Com. Course.
