Details of HMCT Entrance Exams

Note :After appearing the entrance test in any one of the centers , the student purchases the SIHMCT application form as per the following procedure:


Rules for out of the state candidates:

  1. There are no centers outside the state. Therefore all the out of state candidates have to appear for exam at any one of the above centers and then collect their BHMCT application form from SIHMCT.
  2. Enquire about the status of application with the admission officials mentioned on the contact us or enquiry page.
  3. If there are any grievances the student may call the grievance officials mentioned on the contact us or enquiry page.

A DD of Rs.600/- is payable to 'SIHMCT' can be sent by the student to the following address, payable at Lonavala through any Nationalised Bank

The Prospectus and Application Form will be sent to the present address of the students. The same cab be returned with photocopies of required marks sheets and other related documents as mentioned on the application form.

Four years Degree in Hotel Management & catering technology (BHMCT)

Affiliated to University of Pune and approved by government of Maharashtra and recognized by AICTE. The candidate will have to appear for a CET for Admission.

Eligibility:

Any candidate who has passed HSC (10+2) through Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & higher Secondary education or its equivalent (10+2) examination Arts/ science/ commerce / MCVC stream can apply for the above named course.

Open category min. 45% passing aggregate in Std.XII

Reserved category min 40% passing aggregate in Std XII

Procedure:

The candidate opting for the four year degree course should apply through CET as per DTE notification.

Fee Structure:

Fees for BHMCT is Rs 92,000/- per year as per Shikshan Shulka Samiti.
