Admission Procedure
 
Admission Procedure-
     • The candidate, who has passed common Entrance Test of B.Ed. course conducted        by the  State Government  approved by NCTE, can apply for the admission to        B.Ed. Course.
     • The candidate should collect the admission form fro the college allotted to him/her        through  the centralized   admission procedure.
     • The applicant should submit the admission from duly filled in with the attested        photocopies of the required documents in the college office within the stipulated time        period.
Admission will be confirmed after
     • The submission of completely filled in admission form along with the required        documents.
     • Payment of fees by Demand Draft.
Eligibility for admission

A candidate possessing educational qualifications as prescribed by the respective State Government & N.C.T.E. from time to time, shall only be eligible to apply for admission to B.Ed. Degree Course of the S.N.D.T. Women’s University.

Documents Required-

A candidate shall be required to submit following certificates/documents at the time of admission to the B.Ed. Course.

A)
• Certificate of passing the qualifying Examination as recognized by the University.
 
• Its attested Photo copy.
   
B)
• Statement of marks obtained by the qualifying examination,  its attested Photo copy
   
C)
• Migration Certificate (in case of students having passed the qualifying examination from the University
   other than the S.N.D.T. Women’s University).
 
• Certificate for the change in the name on account of marriage (in case of student    having passed the qualifying examination under her maiden name). This certificate    shall be from a special Executive Magistrate or a Magistrate bearing his office    seal. Alternatively, a copy of the Government Gazette in which the change   of  name has been notified; may be submitted.
 
• Caste certificate (if applicable).
   
D)
• Any other certificate /document as prescribed for the B.Ed. admission, by the   respective Government from  time to time.
Duration-
  1. The duration of the B.Ed. Course will be two consecutive academic terms.
     • The academic year ordinarily commences in June & terminates in April
     • The dates of commencement & termination of the academic year are subject to the directives of the
        University.
Medium-
     • The medium of the instruction for the B.Ed. Course will be Gujarati or Marathi or        English may be.
     • Medium of examination- the medium of the Examination shall be Gujarati or        Marathi. Or English, but the  students, with prior permission, will have option to        writer their theory papers in any of the above languages or in Hindi irrespective of       the medium of instruction
Eligibility for appearing for the B.Ed. Examination-

Attendance:

     • At least 80% of the total number of working days in the aggregate of the two terms.
     • Completion of internal work as per the norms of the University.
