The Sinhgad Law College was established by the Sinhgad Technical Education Society in the year 2003. The Sinhgad Technical Education Society (STES) is a group of educational institutes which provides education in the fields of Engineering, Law, Management, Pharmacy, Architecture, Health Science, etc. The society also runs many schools. The Society was founded by Prof. M. N. Navale in 1993 in response to the increasing education criteria in rapidly growing industry after the open business strategy policy of Government of India. Sinhgad Technical Education Society began with the formation of Sou. Venutai Chavan Polytechnic Institute in the field of Engineering. It was offering three year full-time Diploma Courses in Engineering, recognized by the Government of Maharashtra and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The Sinhgad Technical Education Society has been continually expanding since its establishment in 1993. The Society has 12 campuses spread over the State of Maharashtra. These 12 campuses having more than 500 acres of area which accommodates more than 85 institutes / Colleges and 26 schools and more than 7000 employees. These 12 campuses are with ideal environment with lush green surroundings and panoramic views. These campuses are situated on a delightful hillock of the beautiful Sahyadri Ranges, with the quietude form of the right ambience for learning, have clearly proven that such surroundings stimulate the brain and grooms talent. These campuses have independent and spacious buildings for various institutions / Colleges and Schools, along with all other resources and facilities.
Shaping the Path of Legal Education Since 2003 Sinhgad Technical Education Society has been leading the path of legal education through its Law College since 2003. STES was established in year 1993. Reaching to the masses and nurturing the creativity is an avowed object of education. This can be achieved through concerted efforts, commitments and dedication.
