Global Engagement is a top priority for Sinhgad Institutes. It has a remarkable presence abroad. Sinhgad Institutes with its network of Educational Institutes has a marked presence abroad. It is working with 11 European Universities where 42 Indian scholars are being offered fellowships, 22 teachers of Sinhgad Institutes are pursuing their Ph.D. studies under this Programme in the universities.

It has presently more than 1000 foreign nationals from more than 38 countries. Their reason for coming – pursuit of Higher Studies in streams like Science, Commerce, Arts, Law, Engineering, Medicine, Architecture, Management etc. Sinhgad Institutes have also signed an MOU with Aalborg University, Denmark for Faculty mobility where our faculty & students are pursuing their Masters & Doctorate programmes. The International Student Cell has an impressive ongoing responsibility at hand, in fact in 2012, sixty two students from France have undertaken Internship programmes in India through Sinhgad Institutes. The French Nationals belong to different universities and various educational Institutes. Around 200 French students are expected to do their Internship Programme in India in the year 2013. Sinhgad Institutes have taken up through its Centre for International Students, has taken up the entire responsibility of their study tenure in India including Lodging & Boarding.

There is also an upcoming Educational Venture in Rawanda, pertaining to Management Studies, planned in the offing. Several faculty members drawn from various Sinhgad Business Schools have been identified for the Rawanda Project. There are several such Initiatives in the Pipe line, and more perspectives to render learning through global engagement absolutely worthwhile and mutually rewarding.
