National Service Scheme (NSS) group of Sinhgad College of Science organized a "Books, Toys & Clothes Donation " from 11th August to 22nd August 2016 at STES’S Sinhgad College of Science Ambegaon Bk. Around 250 Toys, 238 books & 723 cloths were collected which were donated to tribals of Nandurbar District in collaboration with an NGO ‘Sammrudham Foundation’.

National Service Scheme (NSS) group of Sinhgad College of Science organized a "NSS CAMP 2016-17" from 21/12/2016 to 27/12/2016 at Agalambe,Pune. Total 30 students participated in the NSS CAMP. NSS CAMP 2016-17 was based on “SWACH & SAWSTH BHARAT” Scheme.

The event was held on 21st June 2015. The event was organized by Dr. Sanjay Kumar Dalvi. He is secretary of Students Welfare and secretary of NSS. The event started at 7am at Savitribai Phule Pune University. The chief guest of this event was Dr. W. N. Gade Vice Chancellor SPPU. Ten NSS cadets of Sinhgad College of Science had participated in this event. The motto of this event was to make people aware that how yoga is helpful in their life. In this event they taught many yoga asana and gave information about correct way to perform yoga.

On the occasion of Foundation Day of Sinhgad Technical Education Society National Service Scheme (NSS) group of Sinhgad College of Science had organized a "Tree Plantation Event" at STES’S Sinhgad College of Science Ambegaon Bk. around 100 trees were given to students of Sinhgad College of Science. Students were informed to plant the tree & keep updating NSS committee by sending plants pictures. The Motto was not only to plant a tree but also to take care and see whether the trees are alive or not.

NSS Committee had organized Teacher’s Day Celebration on 5th September, 2015. The Celebration started in the morning by greeting Prof. M. N. Navale Sir. NSS cadets presented handmade greeting card to Prof M.N. Navale Sir. The event started at 12:00 pm. NSS cadets welcomed the teachers & greet them by offering roses & handmade greeting cards. Motivational lecture was delivered by the Chief guest Dr. BHALABA VIBHUTE to the teachers. Many teachers were felicitated for their achievements of the academic year 2014-15. The students prepared huge banner on which they have exhibited their views about teachers.

On the occasion of 'NSS day' National Service Scheme (NSS) group of Sinhgad College of Science had organized ''NSS Student’s Alumni Meet 2015”. Around 50 alumni students were present for the event. The motto of NSS meet was to help drought affected farmers. NSS students collected donation for drought affected farmers from college staff, students & NSS alumni students. The collected money was donated to NAAM Foundation.

All NSS cadets were present on the ground for flag hosting ceremony. The flag hosting ceremony was performed at 07:30 am. The event started at 09:00 am at Rajaram Bridge signal. All cadets were divided into 4 groups and each group was telling people to follow the traffic rules. Those who had put on their helmets were rewarded and appreciated by giving the chocolates. Our motto was to spread awareness about the traffic safety rules.

The event Polio Vaccination Camp was held on 17th January 2016. The event was held on Sinhgad Road at 8:00am till 5:00pm. There were eight different booths. NSS cadets were divided into three and each group was allotted at the booths. As per the instructions students gave two drops of polio and marked on the hands of the children. Around 50 children are benefited by this camp.

All NSS cadets were present in the college for clean plastic event. The event started at 10:30 A.M.in college premises. All cadets were divided into 2 groups and each group was allotted with specific area. Our motto was to spread awareness about the proper disposal of plastic waste i.e. plastic garbage.

All NSS cadets were present at Fergusson College for Youth Rally Event. The event started at 2:30 P.M. from Fergusson College’s main gate towards Shaniwar Wada. All cadets were walking with other cadets spreading the awareness about road safety. Our motto was to support youth rally organizer as they have invited us for to take part in the event for spreading the message across to a large number of people regarding road/traffic safety.
