The department of first year Engineering plays a vital role to prepare strong foundation of students by building necessary academic knowledge base through proper understanding of basic sciences that is Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and fundamental subjects of major engineering disciplines such as Basic Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Engineering Graphics, Engineering Mechanics, Fundamental Programming Language. The department has dedicated, motivated, hardworking faculty with a passion for teaching. Faculty is committed to enrich their skills through continual higher education & research. The department has modern well-designed class rooms with modern teaching aids like LCD projectors etc. Our classes are made interactive with the use of power point presentations, videos and demos wherever it is possible. The laboratories are well equipped with latest equipment, charts etc. The department plays a parental role for the budding engineers by offering Class Teacher and the Teacher Guardian scheme, through which attendance, academic performance and students' overall development is monitored. The department believes in not only developing the students academically but also shaping their personalities by exposing them to a variety of co-curricular & extracurricular activities like guest lectures, industrial visits, poster competition, project competition etc
