Welcome to the Department of Mechanical Engineering of NBN Sinhgad School of Engineering. Mechanical Engineering is a versatile and evergreen branch of engineering. The Department was established in the year 2011 and offers undergraduate program (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering and Post Graduate program (M.E.) in ‘Design Engineering’.
From pin to an aero plane, Mechanical Engineers play a vital role in their designing and manufacturing. Hence, the branch is regarded as a basic branch of Engineering.
NBNSSOE appears to me as a right platform to gain overall growth of students in terms of academics, sports, technical competencies; cultural programs. College has provided excellent facilities. Staff & Principal are generous. Moreover, my success was carved out of the proper guidance by staff, periodic tests, time to time directives by Principal, parent teacher meetings. It’s my second home!

The Department is established in the year 2012-13 and offers undergraduate program (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering and Post Graduate program (M.E.) in ‘Design Engineering’. 272 UG students and 24 PG students are pursuing graduation and post graduation in mechanical engineering respectively in this academic year. Department has established ‘Mechanical Engineering Students Association (MESA)’ for giving scope for the hidden potentials existing amongst the budding mechanical engineers. .....
