The library is a veritable knowledge bank, which houses
over 10000 Text Books and Reference Books in all the
disciplines of Management Studies. A total of 1800+
Management & Computer Journals and periodicals of national
and international we have.
The Library facility is made available to the students 15hrs a day. Library is airy and ventilated. We also subscribe all
the leading daily newspapers. A separate reading hall
enables students to read and study in peace.

Seminar Hall & Syndicate Room
To support the
unique teaching learning process at SIBAR, there are two
seminar halls and three syndicate rooms where the
interactive sessions and the interface with the experts from
the corporate world take place. These are equipped with
audio visual aids like OHP, LCD, TV, VIDEO, etc.

Computer Laboratory
SIBAR has truly
world class, state-of-the-art Information Technology tools
that are designed to meet the computing and communication
needs of the institute. The entire architecture of over 310
computers for MBA & 190 computers for MCA, equipped with Windows XP Operating Systems,
is controlled by 2 powerful servers (oneIBM 235 Xeon Servers ,
and Windows 2003 Server) utilizing networking and database
utilities of Oracle 8i.
Other than this,
the labs are equipped with Laser / DeskJet / Dot-Matrix
printers etc.

The labs have a
well designed Network with Structured Cabling. 24x7 Internet
connectivity is managed through leased lines with data
transfer rates of 2MBPS ,
that provides
internet access to the students to keep pace with the latest
developments in the corporate world.In addition
our campus is Wi-Fi enabled.
The labs are equipped with firewall and content filtering tools with
latest Antivirus(Quick Heal). Other than this panoply of
licensed as well as open-source software are used; following are of a few
which will be helpful in giving an overview: Microsoft Windows 2003
Server, Microsoft Windows XP , Microsoft Office, Oracle 8i , Turbo C,
Microsoft Visual Studio.net, Java, Rational Rose etc. The labs are open 12 hours a day.Among other things, the labs are
kept up to date with the fast moving technology.
As a major step towards embarking the Wireless Connectivity ,
SIBAR has whole campus wireless.

"VARIETY IS THE
SPICE OF LIFE" and SIBAR canteen menu reflects just that. Our
canteen is not only a place to fill appetite but also a venue for
mélange of ideas & views to converge and give rise to innovative
ventures. It has a mess, which offers vegetarian delicacies, and
caters to the diverse palates. And for the health freaks, we have
a dedicated juice corner serving fresh fruit juices. Delicious
food is prepared according to strict standards of hygiene, which
is not just good for the stomach but doubles up as food for
thought too!!! |
