Applications for the following posts are invited from the eligible and duly qualified candidates at our following colleges affiliated to the S.N.D.T. Women’s University, Mumbai.

 

1. A relaxation of 5% may be provided, from 55% to 50% of the marks at the Masters Level for the SC/ST category.

2. A relaxation of 5% may be provided, from 55% to 50% of the marks to the Ph.D. degree holders who have passed their Masters degree prior to September 19, 1991.

3. A relaxation of 5% from 55% to50% of the marks at the Masters level to the physically and visually handicapped persons.

4. For the open posts candidates from backward classes as well as physically challenged persons can also apply.

1. Duly qualified candidate shall apply on a plain paper giving complete Bio-data enclosing therewith certified copies of the certificates / mark-sheets so as to reach The President, Sinhgad Technical Education Society, Off Sinhgad Road, Vadgaon Bk., Pune-41, on the above address within 30 days of the publication of the advertisement.

2. Candidates already employed shall apply through proper channel and shall submit ‘NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE’ from the employer along with application and also bring the same at the time of the interview.

3. Reserved category candidates must attach certified copy of their caste certificate duly issued by the competent authority. Qualifications for the post of Full –time Principals :

1. Ph.D in Education, Masters Degree in a school subject with minimum 50 % marks and M.Ed./M.A. (Education) with 55 % marks and B.Ed.

Or

1. Ph.D. in Education/ M.A. / M.Ed. (Education) with minimum 55 % marks and B.Ed.
2. 10 years experience of teaching including five years teaching in a secondary teacher education institution.

Qualifications for the post of Librarian :

At least 55% marks at the Masters Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation from an Indian University or any equivalent degree from a foreign University and NET/ SET.

Qualifications for the post of Full –time Lecturers :

1. M.Ed. / M.A. (Education) with minimum 55% marks and B.Ed.

Or

Masters degree in a school subject with minimum 50% marks and M.Ed. / M.A. (Education) with 55% marks and B. Ed.

2. Two years school teaching experience is desirable

1. There shall be relaxation in minimum percentage of marks
Good Academic record with at least 55% of the marks or, an equivalent grade of ‘ B’ in the 7 points scale with letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E and F, at the Master’s Degree level in the Education (M.Ed.) from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from a foreign University. Besides, fulfilling these qualifications candidates should have cleared the eligibility test (NET) for the Lecturers conducted by UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC i.e. SET. However, the candidates who have completed M.Phil Degree by 31-12-1993 or have submitted Ph.D thesis to the University in the concerned subject on or before 31-12-2002 are exempted from the NET examination. In case such candidates fail to obtain Ph.D Degree, they shall have to pass the NET / SET examination.

Our society having following 4 B.Ed. colleges affiliated to SNDT University in Pune District.

1. Sinhgad College of Training & Research (B.Ed. ), Vadgaon (Bk.)
2. Sinhgad college of Education (B.Ed.), Narhe.
3. Smt. Kashibai Navale Institute of Education (B.Ed.), Kondhwa (Bk.)
4. Smt. Kashibai Navale College of Education & Training (B.Ed. ), Kusgaon.

All the above colleges being under the aegis of Sinhgad Technical Education Society, Vadgaon, it has been decided to maintain common roaster for the all above colleges.
As per NCTE norms we will have to fill 4 post of Principals & 28 Post of Lecturers & 4 Posts of Librarian.
Smt. Kashibai Navale Institute of Education (B.Ed.), Kondhwa (Bk.) is already established in 2004-05 & one Post of Principal (Open category), 4 post of Lecturers (Open category) & one post of Librarian (Open Category) have already been filled with due approval of the selection committee of the University.
And therefore, Out of the above total posts, we require to fill 3 posts of Principals, 24 post of Lecturers & 3 post of Librarian, where we are required to take approval of the selection committee. The method wise vacant seats of Lecturer are as under.

We therefore request you to allocate the vacant seats category wise/ Method wises & grant us approval on the roaster so as to enable us to fill the post according to category & Method.
