Admission to B.Ed Course:
One year full time English Medium Teacher –
Training Course.
Admission according to merit obtained in Common Entrance
Test as specified by N.C.T.E and Conducted by Maharashtra
Government or any other approved agency.
Documents to attached:
The application form of B.Ed course should
accompany the attested true copies of the certificates
/ testimonials in support of mode in the application.
The details of certificates to be submitted are given
separately in the application form attached .
Duration:
The duration of the B.Ed course will be of
one year.
Confirmation of Admission:
A candidate at the time of confirming her admission
i.e. at the time of paying the fees will have to bring
all the certificates / testimonials in original for
verification.
Eligibility:-
A candidate should have passed the Bachelor’s
Degree / Master Degrees of Pune University or
Of any other University Recognized by this University.
with at least 45% Marks should have offered at least
one school subject at first and or second degree level
as principal or subsidiary or allied or optional (school
subject means the subject included in the syllabus of
secondary / Higher secondary level in Maharashtra state)
relaxation of 5% marks will be given to the candidates
belonging to S.C. & S.T. & other notified Categories
as per government rules
The Director of Education (Higher Education,) Maharashtra
state, Pune, will be the competent Authority to give
Admissions to the B.Ed course (Regular) in government,
Non government, aided & unaided colleges of education
in the state of Maharashtra after conducting Common
Entrance test (C.E.T.) through centralized admission
procedure on the basis of merit.
(i) Selection Procedure:
Admission to the eligible given as per the selection
procedure laid down by the state government of Maharashtra
for the time to time
(ii) Eligibility Norms for appearing at B.Ed. examination:
Student teachers should have kept two terms with at
least 80 % attendance at the periods in the college
for the both the terms. He should have completed all
the practical and other work expected in all the four
parts of the syllabus up to the satisfaction of principal.
He should have obtained such a certificate from the
principal of the college. Unless and until he obtains
such a certificate, he will not be allowed to appear
for university examination.
