New initiatives and future
vision, if any:
The institute proposes to commence under graduate course
in planning and interior design and also post graduate
and doctoral studies in future.
Excellent infrastructure support like workshop experimental
laboratories are provided to undertake interdisciplinary
research work in the field of sustainable habitat energy
conservation, environmental impact, earthquake resistant
structures, eco friendly construction techniques rehabilitation
of disaster sufferers, etc.
It is envisaged that at the center wider spectrum of research
ideas will develop to become a full-fledged interdisciplinary
center in human habitat on an excellent seat of learning.
