Sinhgad Technical Education Society was formed under the able leadership of Prof.M.N.Navale in August 1993.It has grown enormously to make it over 5 campuses and over 67 institutes in Pune city. It has 55 acres land on the hill top at Vadgaon (Bk), Off Sinhgad Road, Pune.
Sinhgad College of Engineering is one of the pioneer institutes, established in 1996.The college offers 8 Under Graduate Programmes and 7 Post Graduate Programmes an d 3 Ph.D. Programmes in Engineering and Technology. The Central Library has 30,000 books and 160 periodical as well as e-recourses like Science Direct. |

The campus is about 8 km from Deccan Gymkhana (in Pune City) and approximately one km from Mumbai-Bangalore bypass high way. Bus No. 48 from Pune Station & Shivajinagar, Bus No. 54 from Swargate & Shaniwarwada and Bus No.92 from Kothrud, reach the institute directly. Participants can also come from Vadgaon (Bk) bus stop to institute by shared Autorickshaw |
