The Department is committed to prepare young men and women for managerial and entrepreneurial skills in the global economy. The Department of Business Management was started in the year 2009. It offers two years post graduate degree Programme in management, leading to the award of the degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA).

College has undertaken a major drive to make learning more enjoyable, interesting and fun; a unique feature; so that students do not feel the burden of the studies. Some of the highlights are:
Project-based learning, in which students are expected to conceptualize the projects, study the relevant material and manufacturing procedures and finally fabricate and test the equipment.

Faculty members have developed e-lectures and video lectures which are being utilized extensively for classroom teaching and these are available to students on a ‘click’ for their reference. Tutorials/assignments, question banks, both for theory and practical examinations, multiple choice questions etc. are available for all the subjects on central server /internet. All faculty members are encouraged for regular updating of their knowledge and being sponsored for research work. Major emphasis is given for all round development of the students.

To help out slow learners, special schemes like mentoring and remedial classes are arranged.
