Architecture and Interior Design are like two sides of the same
coin. Like Yin and Yang, like Purusha and Prakrati. One is
incomplete without the other. Architecture is the masculine part
providing the basic shelter, whereas Interior Design is the more
feminine part dealing with comforts, aesthetics through colours,
light, texture, etc. We at the Sinhgad Institute of Interior Design
and Decoration, strive to develop individual designers who
understand this underlying basic unity in the field of designing for
the human habitat.
