Information for Students & Parents
 
Parents are requested to observe the following,


1. Parents must keep constant contact with the Guardian Teachers of their wards.


2. They must contact the Guardian Teachers at least once in a week, precisely on Saturday between 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm on mobiles.


3. Attendance of their ward should be at least 75% in all theory subjects and 100% in all practical.


4. Your ward is allowed to go home in specified holidays only.


5. Attendance and passing in each Unit Test as well as in preliminary examination is compulsory.


6. In case of less attendance, not attending or failing the unit tests, preliminary examination or non-completing the term work, the term will not sanctioned which leads to detention hence loss of one academic year.


7. Your ward must follow all the disciplinary rules of the college and STE society. A serious action shall be taken against involvement in any unfair activities and/or breach of discipline

 
 
Important Instructions for Students

All the F. E. students are instructed to note the following points carefully.

1) Immediately after joining the college, students are required to fill in:
a) University Eligibility form
b) University Examination (SEM-I) Form And pay the prescribed fees as notified

2) Terms I and II are granted only when the following conditions are fulfilled.
a) Attendance of student should be 100% in theory and practical classes.
b) Completion of 100% termwork.
c) Submission of Journals, write-ups/ drawing sheets/jobs/field book etc. in the concerned subject before prescribed date.

3) There will be continuous assessment of term work for each subject and term work marks (out of 25) will be calculated on the basis of
a) Actual term work completion, initiative during the practicals and quality of work.
b) attendance for theory and practicals
c) marks secured in the class tests

4) Medical check up is compulsory for every student. Programme for that will be notified in due course of time.

5) Immediately after joining the college (in the first week), students are supplied with library card and identity card. All the students are advised to complete the formalities for using these cards.

6) Identity cards should be with the students all the time in the college campus as well as at the time of University Examinations.

7) Every student should read the notices every day put up on the FE notice board as well as on other notice boards.

8) Every class will have a class teacher/ guardian, who can be approached by student from that class for any difficulty whatsoever, whether directly related with college or otherwise.

9) Two class tests of each subject will be conducted during the semester and it is compulsory that students have to appear for these tests. The detailed schedule of class tests is put on the FE notice board as well as on the other notice boards.

10) Student who is absent for any reason should take “Leave” applying in the prescribed format. In case student is absent on account of any official work such as participation in inter-collegiate sports or inter-collegiate competitions etc. a consent should be obtained from the concerned staff member, informing the date/s and event due to which he/she was absent. He has to submit such consent to class teacher and FE Incharge before the date of event.

11) Parents are informed that, if the student remains at home during days of college, they should ask their ward for the reason of stay at home.

The students should collect undertaking forms from the respective HOD’s and submit them after taking parents signature to the respective HOD’s.
